The Cilas 990 Laser Particle Size Analyzer is
designed for quality control applications and measures
particles with sizes ranging from 0.2 to 500 um.
Measurements can be made in either liquid or dry dispersion
mode. Switching between dispersion modes is done with a
single click of the mouse.
Our intuitive software allows the user to
click on a picture of the component to turn that part of the
system on or off. For repetitive testing, boost your
productivity by creating a standard operating procedure.
An optional
image analysis system
allows users to view particle shape along with traditional
particle size distribution data.
Cilas’ patented short optical bench has all
optical components permanently mounted on a cast-iron base
plate. This design means optic components are always in
alignment and guarantees the highest accuracy and
reproducibility. The 930’s rugged design means it will work
well even in the harshest environments.
All systems include Cilas' newest innovation -
Dry Jet Dispersion
technology. This new dispersion technique has been
optimized for the highest dispersion efficiency. DJD
guarantees that even the most difficult particles can be
accurately analyzed.
The 990 is designed to comply with the
ISO 13320 standard for
measurement accuracy and repeatability. Whether running in
liquid or dry mode, the entire analyzer is qualified using
Certified Reference Materials. This guarantees measurement
reproducibility of better than 1%.
